Implementation
While awaiting the review and initial feedback of the on-site committee (February 26 – March 2, 2007) and the decision by the SACS Commission on Colleges (COC) (December, 2007), additional programming has been planned to continue the momentum of the QEP initiative during the Spring of 2007.
Spring 2007
- Continued Community of Practice sessions for Pilot Project PIs
- Active Learning teaching conversations
- Speakers and workshops
- Active Learning survey
- Active Learning website portal launch
- Putting implementation structure in place
Summer 2007
- When the QEP is deemed acceptable by SACS implementation structure will be employed
Fall 2007
- Implementation of the 12 QEP Pilot Projects is scheduled to commence in the fall of 2007.
Spring 2007
- QEP Document sent to SACS (January 15, 2007)
- SACS On-site Review Committee conducts visit (February 26, 2007 – March 2, 2007)
- SACS Leadership Team receives report of On-site Review Committee
- SACS Leadership Team prepares and submits response to report of On-site Review Committee
Fall 2007
- Commission on Colleges reaffirms UT Arlington’s accreditation at Annual Meeting (December 2007)
